Europe is at a crossroads. The climate crisis is no longer a distant threat; it shapes our energy security, economic stability, and geopolitical position. At the same time, it represents one of the greatest industrial opportunities of our generation. The choices we make today will determine whether Europe becomes a global leader in climate solutions or risks falling behind.
At World Fund, we believe climate tech is not just part of the solution, it is the foundation for European resilience. From clean energy and industrial decarbonisation to climate adaptation and nature-based systems, these technologies unlock both environmental impact and economic strength. But progress will not happen at the required speed without targeted policy support and scalable investment frameworks.
A Roadmap for Scaling Climate Technology in Europe
To accelerate this transformation, we joined forces with Kaya Partners and Worthwhile Capital Partners to co-author a new white paper:
Climate Tech for European Resilience
This is more than a policy document. It is a call to action backed by research, expert insights, and practical recommendations. In the paper, we outline what policymakers, investors, and financial institutions must do to strengthen Europe’s climate leadership and unlock the next wave of climate solutions.
The report explores:
- Why climate tech is Europe’s best long-term economic strategy
- Key barriers holding back scaleup from funding gaps to regulatory friction
- Policy tools to mobilise private capital at speed and scale
- Recommendations to close the growth stage financing gap
- How to strengthen Europe’s sovereignty through climate technologies
- Ways to build stronger cross-border industrial collaboration
This work is grounded in real-world insights from founders, investors, policy experts, and industry leaders who are building the future of Europe’s climate economy today.
Contributing to this project has been a meaningful experience, not just because of the content, but because of the collective effort behind it. Bringing together diverse expertise across climate finance, policy, industry, and communications was essential to shaping a piece of work designed to drive real change rather than sit on a digital shelf.
